My name is Julia, I'm 22 and living in Flensburg (where there is good beer), Germany. I used to live in Berlin where I studying french an culural studies for 2 semesters. But I quit university and moved back to Flensburg where I'm doing a training as an architectual draftsman.

I'm calm, easygoing, fun and spontaneous. I'm always up for new things and places. After finishing my trainig I'd love to travel around euope again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first experience of Couchsurfing was in the USA. In my sisters travel month we travelled around the east and west coast. It was a nice possibility to saa as much from the USA as possible.
We couldn't have found a better place to stay. It was always much fun and it's great to know some locals who can give you some secret spots or advice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not good at picking just one. But maybe these three:
- student exchange in 11th grade. I spent 6 months in France, I got to know another culture and language and moreover I made some really good friends.
- my sister's AuPair travel month in the USA (first Couchsurfing-experience). We visited all the cool places:
Washington DC, New York City, Miami and California where we did a road trip.
- Backpacking for 6 weeks. A friend and I traveled across Europe. We started in France, went to Italy, Spain and Portugal. I had an amazing time full of adventures and lovely people!
- Moved to Berlin
