I am from Vienna, Austria but I currently live in Brussels doing my Erasmus. I study biology and chemistry to become a high school teacher.

I love to talk to people about subjects that they are very interested in and try to share their excitement for certain topics. I consider my self an interested and openminded person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently I am doing my Erasmus in Brussels, Belgium. I got to know Couchsurfing during my weekend trips this semester. I think Couchsurfing gives a totally new perspective to travelling because the focus on the destination shifts to the people living there which is great.

I am already looking forward to be a host my self after I came back from my Erasmus. I expect it to be an awesome opportunity for cultural exchange without even leaving the country.

For now I hope to get the possibility to meet cool people and maybe form friendships abroad! :)

Thinking of favourite films or books childhood memories come to my mind such as Tarzan or Narnia or Eragon and so on. Which is linked to the Tarzan soundtrack by Phil collins which always gets me emotional.

I consider food and cooking a great way to come together and exchange knowledge and experiences. It is a topic where I can and would like to learn as well as teach. Maybe even food from my or your hometown :)
