I'm currently living and going to school in Gainesville, Florida. I was born in San Jose, California. I recently was an Au Pair for three months in Austria and was lucky enough to get to travel around Europe while I was there.

I believe that every person's story deserves to be heard. I love to share and listen to experiences and meet new people. Every person on this planet experienced today differently and we all have something to learn from one another :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a wonderful, affordable way to get to stay with like-minded travelers and to return the favor. It's a great alternative to just staying in a hotel or even a hostel. The experience of getting to stay with someone local is priceless.

Interests

I'm interested in a lot of different things. Music is a huge part of my life. Everyone in my family sings or plays an instrument (including me). I enjoy everything from indie music to oldies to electronic music and I've been to tons of concerts. I'm also into art in all of its forms and dabble in poetry, painting, pottery, drawing, and my personal favorite, photography. The ability of the human spirit to express itself in such remarkable ways is truly amazing. My favorite people in my life are the ones that can make me laugh and I love to make other people laugh as well. I'm a complete goofball and I'm never afraid to completely embarrass myself. I love the city just as much as I love the solitude and beauty of nature. I also love exercise! I was a rower for 3 years and loved every minute of it.
