ABOUT ME

Oh geez....me? Well first off, I hate writing these things and for 2 reasons. The first is that it's so hard to define myself in a little blurb because I am so random and I enjoy a variety of different things. I don't want you creating some preconceived notion of who I am based on my interests, because most likely, that's not who I am. Second, I hate rambling on about myself. But for the spirit of this, how about I tell you what I am currently doing with my life, and then we can go from there? Cool beans.

I'm a 4th year chemistry student studying in Toronto. I miss BC, but living in the big TO has had it's benefits. Definitely have learned a lot living 3000km away from home. After undergrad I want to pursue a MSc in Food Science- I'm on a mission to redevelop the artificial orange and watermelon flavours. The current state of these flavours just isn't working for me.

Every summer I've been lucky enough to work somewhere different... (Thank god cause I get super bored super easily). Last summer I worked as a brand ambassador handing out ice cream as well as a mad science summer camp instructor. This past summer I worked at a cement plant.

PHILOSOPHY

-Try not to set expectations in life, you'll only end up disappointed.
-Just go with it

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't offer much, but I know how much a place to sleep for the night can make travels more comfortable and enjoyable and run more smoothly. So whatever I can do!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Recently lost my couch surfing virginity. It was incredible. Soooo ready to pass on the good karma and maybe even pop some other CS cherries!

Books- I SPY, kurt vonnegut

TV- I watch more TV than movies....so I feel it appropriate to add this in, plus I was feeling a little rebellious....Seinfeld, The League, Entourage, The Sopranos, Modern Fam, Art Attack, Breaking Bad (Typical, eh!? But honestly, who doesn't love this show. No question mark, because I know this is a fact. )
