Hi!
I love learning languages, trying new foods, making music and learning about plants and natural history. I'm outgoing but I also like quiet time and I prefer rural places, though cities can be nice every now and then.

At the moment I am in Puerto Rico doing an exchange in a hostel in San Juan (exchanging work for a room).

The rest of the time, I live in an intentional community in Vermont. I work from home and work making captions for movies and TV.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to explore Puerto Rico more and get to know some new people. I am especially interested in practicing my Spanish and learning about the natural history of PR.

Traditional music from all over - Appalachia, the Middle East, the Balkans, Latin America (I'm especially into the Bomba right now). Also, contemporary folk music, folk-punk, regular punk, older jazz featuring vocalists, old country music.
