ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, open minded person, who loves to travel and easily meets new people. I like adventures and not planning to far ahead. Australia is my favourite country, I've visited it 3 times and still can't get enough!
What else is there to say about me...I like to analyze things and I love long, interesting discussions. Among my friends, I'm the one who organizes everything and makes sure everyone is having fun. I'm also the crazy one, because sometimes I like to try things - regardless of the consequences, as long as it doesn't harm anyone, of course.
I love taking risks. I remember that I felt the most alive when I was lost somewhere in Australia, the credit card wasn't working and I had nothing but two dollars in my pockets. Though I tend to get myself into situations like that, I always somehow find a way out of them, too :)
So I would consider myself as an adventurer and sometimes even a party animal - but I also need some quiet time every now and again, to relax, and I also just like some quiet nights with a few friends, a bit of wine & beer and some cooking...
Overall, I'm happy, most of the time ;) I get along with a range of different people, as long as they're honest.
Also, I'm a hopeless chocoholic. Life seems so easy when you're watching a sunset with a glass of wine and some chocolate.

PHILOSOPHY

Life isn’t a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, latte in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ‘Woohoo WHAT A RIDE’!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have so much experience with couchsurfing yet, and due to the fact that I live in a one room apartment, I cannot host at the moment. But I do like to catch up with other couchsurfers, and if you're down here in Leipzig, I could certainly show you around!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed two couches before joining this website, and so I am pretty new to this website - but I'm going to Spain this summer, so I hope I get some more experience there!

Interests

I enjoy learning new languages, sport, camping and cooking together. I'm a full-time psychology student and work in a bar to earn some extra money.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling all of Australia in 6 weeks by greyhound. It was a huge challenge to see and experience almost everything in that limited amount of time...but it was well worth it!
Living on an Outback farm for 6 months. It wasn't always easy, but I learnt a lot. And I remember seeing the most amazing sunsets and thunderstorms there.
