ABOUT ME
Hi!
I´m Julia :)
I used to be a bookseller, till i discovered traveling. So i lived a few (amazing) month in Dublin, a year in Australia, travelled through north Thailand and visited Dubai and decided that I am not done with traveling yet.
I love to meet people from all over the world and get to know new cultres.
I enjoy jogging (as weird as it sounds), hiking, food (gosh there is so much amazing food out there I didn´t knew about) and... cause the bookseller in me is still alive... reading.
PHILOSOPHY
I started to ask myself (whenI get afraid of something I want to do and I start to search for excuses not to do it) what will I lose if I don´t try it? Usually it´s nothing. Usually I can only gain experience. Good or bad... that´s the question ;) Helps a lot. I feel much braver after it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well of course I had a few friends over when I was in Dublin, but we didn´t use this website. They all were very happy about my tour guide abilities ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
Watched a very nice movie lately: "Once" The setting is in Dublin. So many nice places in Dublin!
Don´t want to start with books... there are just too many nice books.
Music: listened a lot to Jamie Cullum and Caro Emerald lately. And (something humiliating to admit) the frozen songs are in my head all the time, just like christmas songs.
But for jogging i like to listen to house music or metal (SOAD or something)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Thinking about that question: What is one amazing thing you have seen or done in your lifetime? I imediatly try to think about something big and strong and colourful.
But what is really amazing is the people I have met along the way. People who share their thoughts and become friends on first sight. Helpful, generous and lovely people. There might be just one in a hundred. But that is what I think is really amazing: friendship.
