About Me

CURRENT MISSION
In February 2016 I'm going to travel for a month throughAndalusía, Spain.
Also I hope to go to South America from May to September 2016, but it's just a idea I had two days ago, so who knows, haha.

ABOUT ME

Sarcastic, but never nasty, always honest and extroverted; I love to go out and have fun and simply enjoy life, although I have those moments when I'm kind thoughtful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I moved out a half year ago to my first own flat - well, actually it's the flat of my cat "Wuschel" (german word for "fluffy", so you may imagine what she looks like, haha), I'm just her servant.
As soon as everything is set and I moved in and all the furniture is in place, blah blah blah, I would like to offer my couch to some of you nice people out there [:

Interests

Since I was a kid, I used to spend a lot time in playing music - I was at a few choires, when I was little. By now I'm singing for myself (and sometimes the shower [;) and playing the guitar.
aaand I'm thinking about learning how to play the piano, I'm not quite sure about this by now.
Anyway, as a huge fan of playing music, I love to listen to some aswell.

Other major interests of mine are art, theatre, literature and films. Well, to be honest I like TV series very much too.

And I like to meet my friends, of course.
(I think it's odd that I just had the strong feeling that I should add this to my interests. At least I consider "meet friends" as something very common and, hmm, normal but anyway, I should really stop writing down everything that comes in my head, haha)

Music, Movies, and Books

Always when I get those questions, which films, music or books I enjoy, I reply, "good ones".

But here a few examples:

Movies:
Amelie, Inception, 50/50, The Avengers, (500) Days of Summer, Dallas Buyers Club, Zombieland, Whiplash, Tarantino's movies, ...

Music:
The Beatles, Kings of Leon, The Neighbourhood, Elvis, The Rolling Stones, Coldplay, KISS, ...

Books:
Right now I'm taking a break from the Song of Ice and Fire-series (4 1/2 books in 2 years), so I'm free to read classic literature again, Shakespeare and Goethe for example.
But I enjoyed Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code" or J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series aswell, well ...

I guess you may have noticed, that I'm into very different things [:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since ... my whole life acutally I always wanted to go and get away - and since I want to see everything (curiousity is one of my main strengths and or weaknesses of character) I'd go anywhere. I do not know where it comes from, this strong feeling to go away (I have a good life, a great family, a few but very good friends, ...), but it has always been there so I took the chance to get after it when I graduated from school.

Summer 2014 I've been travelling through Europe for a month, it's been the longest periode of me not being at home and I enjoyed so much seeing all this cities and places, I've heard from and always wanted to go to - or never heard of them before and just got there by accident. It was so amazing!
BUT I also realized, that I'm more of a family/friends-person, than I thought.

Before this journey I always considered myself as a very independent person, but I'm not. Well, I am, but at the end of the month I really really reeeally enjoyed seeing my family and friends again, when I returned to Vienna.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I could learn you a few german words or practise the language, if you are already able to have conversations in it.
But I guess you would rather prefer a homemade austrian dish, haha.
