ABOUT ME

I am studying to be a Spanish teacher. I love learning and experimenting other cultures. I am in love with the Hispanic culture. I spent 17 months in Guatemala as a missionary- so that might explain that. Its important to note that I am not at all preachy.. I have my religion but I do not force it on anyone.

I am currently very excited about my upcoming trip to Puerto Rico. I will be living there from August til Decmber 2011. I will be studying at the Universidad de Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras.

I am the oldest of 5 children. I think my parents are the greatest example of an ideal marriage. I want to be just like them someday... but not yet. :)

I am looking for friends for this fall! I am coming to a new place to live for a bit and I dont want to feel lonely.

Interests

I love photography, listening to music, making plans, experimenting with new things, smiling, relaxing, going out on the town, taking walk in unknown areas.....

I love to plan but I also love to be spontaneous. I guess I like to plan to be spontaneous. That may not make sense.

I love to smile, I am very friendly and I get along with just about everyone. I love to cook, so if you host me its pretty much a guarantee that I will cook something for you.

I dont watch a lot of movies... but I like light-hearted ones. I am not into scary movies at all... I do not like being scared.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to see a river of lava at the foot of an erupting volcano.

I am a giving person. I love to share what I have. I am considerate of others and if I stay with you I promise to not be a handful. If you want to show me around EXCELLENT! But if you can't, I understand. I am not afraid of going out alone. I easily adapt to all situations.
