I discovered this saying at one of my first host's places in Australia and I can truly agree with that. I traveled by myself trough Australia. Every new CS-experience was exciting and I can happily say how well my adventures went. Nearly everyone was so welcoming, warmhearted, lovely, helpful, trustworthy, open-minded and gave me the chance to get to know a bit of their life.
