HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i'd like to give a shelter to people who want to visit vienna in another way than just using a tourist-giudebook. if i have some time, i'd love to show you some nice places tourists might not see!

and i also want to be hosted by nice people when i'm travelling!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

in germany 2011 i met some really nice people in different cities who were all very helpful and easy going. what i like most about couchsurfing is the look behind the curtain... talking to people who live in this city, what their aims are etc.
i also got some information about where to go, what to visit, special places etc.
going out with them was hilarious :)

hosting someone in vienna is not so easy for me because i'm living with my family, so i have to check it out first.
in august 2011 i hosted the first couchsurfer who gave me a short-time request. he didn't stay a long time, but it was really nice to show him some special places in vienna by bike. when showing someone around you get another view of your hometown - that's what i liked most.

the moment you pack your things and just leave home: having a plan where to go and what to see, but not knowing how it really will be. that's an awesome feeling, the best about travelling
