I love old movies, especially from the 40s, 50s and 60s (Bergman, Fellini, Truffaut, Antonioni, Bunuel, Sganzela, Júlio Bressane, Tarkovskii). I can also rant endlessly about how perfect were Portrait of a Lady on Fire, by Sciamma, and Aftersun, by Charlotte Wells).
I love classic rock, jazz, bossa nova, MPB (Bob Dylan, Beatles, Janis Joplin, The Doors, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Tom Jobim, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Tom Zé).
I'm an avid reader and passionate about Russian literature and Elena Ferrante. I really love Dostoevsky, Akhmatova, Ferrante, Atwood, Borges, Clarice Lispector, Fernando Pessoa, Nabokov, Ali Smith, Virginia Woolf.
I'm also participating on a challenge of reading books and watching movies from every country in the world. I'd love to get a recommendation of a book or movie from your country.
