About Me
Hi there!
I’m originally from Ukraine and recently moved to the U.S. - currently living in Manhattan and working full-time, as a Product Development and Operation Lead. While I’m not able to host right now, I’d love to meet up and show you around this incredible city.
I’m a solo traveler at heart and have met so many amazing people during my adventures. I love sharing stories, especially about Ukrainian history, culture, and of course - our food!
Outside of work, I’m a runner, I box for fun and focus, and I’m listening to jazz (especially in the mornings or while walking through the city). I enjoy reading classic literature and I absolutely love driving - sometimes fast lol when the road allows it!
If you're into great conversations, discovering new perspectives, or just looking for someone to explore Manhattan with, I’d be happy to connect!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love connecting with people from around the world. Traveling solo has taught me how beautiful and diverse our world is, and some of my favorite memories are from spontaneous meetups and deep conversations with strangers who quickly became friends.
Even though I can’t host at the moment, I’m always happy to meet, share stories, and show people around New York. I believe that the best part of traveling isn’t just the places - it’s the people you meet along the way.
Interests
I’m passionate about travel and love the freedom of exploring new places - especially on solo trips. I enjoy running (especially in Central Park), boxing for both fitness and focus, and long walks with good jazz in my ears. Classic literature is my quiet escape, and I’m always up for a good book discussion.
I’m also a huge fan of driving - it’s one of my favorite ways to clear my head!
One of my favorite things is sharing stories about Ukraine. I really enjoy telling people about where I come from and hearing about their own cultures in return.
And of course, meeting new people is at the heart of it all. Whether it’s over coffee, a walk through the city, or spontaneous travel stories, I love those real human connections.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once slept in my car during a road trip through California, somewhere between San Francisco and Big Sur. It was a spontaneous and peaceful night under the stars, surrounded by the beautiful coast. I woke up to the sound of the ocean and felt completely at one with nature.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love sharing stories from my travels and learning about different cultures. I can offer good company, share insights on food and local attractions, and even cook a delicious meal if you’re up for it! Above all, I value open and interesting conversations, so I’d love to hear about your experiences and share some of mine!
