About Me

Hey! As you can see I'm new here (even though it says I'm a member since 2013) so I just started surfing and I already found out what a great and pleasant experience it is - besides that I have friends here in Ireland who participate in couchsurfing and I'm often in their place meeting the surfers :)

I usually travel with friends and we stay at hostels, but right now I'm starting to travel alone and I see that as a great opportunity to meet new people, so what better way of doing that then here?

I'm a really organized and calm person, really good listener but always ready to share some story. I'm from Brazil but right now I'm studying visual communication for a year here in Ireland.

Unfortunately I live with a host family right now and can't receive any guests ):

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking for new adventures and new people, there's so much in this world that I still want to see and I would love to share those experience with new and exciting people.

Interests

I draw a lot, not only for college, but it's one of my passions, and right now I'm experimenting in embroidery, so that's a whole new world for me :)
I also read a lot (I'm struggling with my studies now but I always find time to read a nice book and relax) and I love art, that's why I will always look for museums wherever I'm traveling to.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste for music is always evolving and I can never decide on a favorite band. I can tell you three things about now: I've been listening to Beirut a lot those past few months, just discovered a band called The Walkmen and complete love them and also bought a ticket to see Andrew Bird here in Dublin (so that's what I'm listening right now - and a lot of other stuff)

Movies its hard to say too, there's always so much to see and discover. I really like argentines movies though, they always surprises me. Or Wes Anderson movies, they are always a masterpiece! Besides that I like Xavier Dolan's movies, a canadian director and actor. But sometimes I like watching blockbusters movies for fun as well.

I l-o-v-e Milan Kundera and Miranda July (my two favorite M's) and also a portuguese writer Valter Hugo Mãe, probably my favorite author (alive) - I adventured myself in some sagas like "A Series of Unfortunate Events" and all the books from Game of thrones (that was release until now).
Besides that Virginia Woolf is my favorite classic writer.
