About Me

I am an Italian girl from the South, I am from a small town in the province of Lecce, so I grew up very close to the beach, but now I live in Ivrea, close to the Northwest French-Italian Alps (and I love it).
I am an Italian language teacher for foreigners and I can speak English and Spanish, not just because I studied them, but also because I spent some time in Miami, Florida, and in Argentina.

I also teach online, on Italki (https://www.italki.com).

I'm into music, art, history and culture and I enjoy meeting new people and listening to their story.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can't host people right now because I share my apartment with a roommate (and I know she wouldn't accept guests), but I am available to meet up.
Honestly I have always been scared to use this site, but I used it two years ago in Italy itself and it was an amazing experience, so I am giving it another chance.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music artists are Lana Del Rey, Rosalía, Arca, Nathy Peluso, Kali Uchis, Tyler The Creator and Mac DeMarco. I am very into electronic music also and I enjoy clubbing and festival (I would like to go to Sonar in Barcelona!). I am a very musical person anyway, I sing and play guitar and I enjoy live music.

Talking about music, I'm all about the oldies my bad... But I try to keep it up! I do love the old Italian classics.

My favorite book is The Catcher in the Rye, I really understand the old good Holden Caufield!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Putting me through all that situation of moving to Miami from my small Italian town just to teach Italian I think it was quite amazing, even if it wasn't that amazing, I guess.....

Teach, Learn, Share

If anyone of you guys is intersted in Italian, well I can teach you Italian.
I always need to improve my English, Spanish and French. I am curious to learn Portuguese also.
I like to sing, it would be amazing so sing and play music with other musicians.
We can cook together also.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking, singing, partying, going out.
