About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To discover what’s behind the next bend of the road of life.
ABOUT ME
The about you part I always find the hardest.
Yeah I have a bright and bubbly personality. I love fun and games. I love books and I like being a cat – lazy in some sun ray. Getting an occasional pat on the head.
I have my dark moments from time to time. Haven’t figured out what I am going to do when I go back home yet. But than I am the kind of person who likes to take one step at a time. Even though it always helps to have a plan. ;)
PHILOSOPHY
Found this in a magazine and like to think about it. Not that I made complete sense of it yet. :)
Quote:
“So what can I do to find the meaning in life?” I asked. I felt like Luke Skywalker when he met Yoda on the marsh planet Dagobah. “You must go to places that aren’t normal for you,” Shaw said. “That can shift you into a place of seeing things that you might not see in your normal life. You must change your linear life. Step across the threshold from the ordinary to the transcendent.”
Found this too:
We make a living by what we get,
we make a life by what we give.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I am thinking of giving this couch surfing thing a try. Does not need to be the actual surfing a meeting for a cuppa is cool too. I like the hostel live but if you are longer at a place you need some quiet space. So I rented a room in Perth and I got quite lonely without the easy contacts you are able to make in a hostel. So I thought meeting people (and couches ;) via this site might be great. Friends did it in Sydney and had a very good experience with it.
Once back home I might join as a host.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite movie was for a long time:
Marnie by Alfred Hitchcock
but I like stuff like Brother by Takeshi Kitano too.
I am not so much into chickflicks though.
Music nearly everything really depends on the mood I am in.
Book: Love as a Way of Life: Seven Keys to Transforming Every Aspect of Your Life by Gary Chapman
Teach, Learn, Share
Wanna improve my languages: started on French in school and gave up on it again but I would give it a second try. Started on Japanese too but only the little baby steps.
I like to learn about cooking especially with wok and roast. I am not a vegetarian but I normally do not eat meat at least not much.
Massage fascinates me too. Met a Macedonian Sport therapist in NZ and we started on that matter. I had a couple in Perth in a spa but would like to learn more about it.
I am happy to share what I have got. Like being able to speak German or what ever else is of intrest.
