I think CS covers two of my goals while visiting new places. First, I get to know new people and new cultures at the same time that I get to share mine. Secondly, I get the chance to learn about the city beyond the major sightseeing points, as the the inhabitants of a city can provide a better cultural immersion than any tourist guide.
