About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I pretty much like to be creative, positive, inspiring, and be around those that inspiire me as well.

ABOUT ME

I feel like I am writing for some dating site. Basically if I was back at home in Seattle, you would most likely find me in the mountains, climbing, hiking/backpacking camping, or fly fishing during the weekend if the weather permits. Then we would be siitting around a campfire all in trucker hats and our funny "pro gear" (as aussies call it) and drink whiskey or cheap beer becsuse that is the culture and people/friends I like to surround myself with. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Just be positive and really embrace the things you know how to do and be willing to learn new things. Being open minded is key.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love finding new things to do and love love looove meeting local people in the places I visit.

If I was at home I would have a boat for people to couchsurf on, but I am currently the one in need of a place to stay while I am traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time couchsurfing in Australia. I couchsurfed with people in Brisbane, and Hobart.

Each couchsurfing experience has been so good. When I arrived in Hobart, I couch surfed with a group of local people that ended up offering me a room and I ended up staying in Tassie for 6 months becsuse of them and my love for Tasmania! Now they are friends for life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I fall asleep to movies though I do like them. I don't have cable at home because I rather be outside but when I broke my arm last summer I got into Breaking Bad and do love Dexter.

Music: nicolas jaar, matthew dear, deer tick, elliot broad, bonobo, nightmares on wax, alt-j, crosby, stills, nash, and young, fleetwood mac, talking heads, tribe called quest, frank ocean, yeasayer, jagwar ma, phantogram, Little Dragon....too many more to list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have flown a fighter jet for fun. I think the fact that humans think they can do pretty much anything is pretty amazing. Like conquering a rock wall in the Sierra mountains and looking down below is pretty damn cool.

Also, I think x rays are kinda cool. Seeing broken bones on an xray and then having the body heal from something so bad is pretty freakin rad.
