关于我

CURRENT MISSION

I want to see the world, but like any typical American, I can't seem to get off the couch!

ABOUT ME

I'm easy and outgoing. I love a good conversation and I can get along with almost anyone. I love learning words in new languages! I love food and probably spend way too much time talking about food. I love to go dancing, I love wine, and I love trying new things!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't believe in having fear or holding back when it comes to new experiences and living life. There is always a kind person in the crowd, and if there isn't I will be that person! I love my friends and always would like to meet new people and understand them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still new :)

兴趣

I love poetry, and I am a poetry writer. I am studying Poetry and Psychology. I spend time volunteering when I am not working so that I can afford to travel! I developed a project to provide counseling to women and children in Nicaragua who are victims of sexual abuse. I care a lot about everyone I meet and I listen passionately to people.

音乐、电影和书籍

I love almost all movies, but particularly I like Italian cinema. Book-wise... It's hard, but I love poetry anthologies, I'm particularly into live music of any kind EXCEPT scream-o heavy metal, and really I just love watching people do what they love to do.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I lived in Nicaragua for 6 months on the Caribbean Coast. That was quite amazing because I met people from all over the world (Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, the U.K.) and I was able to learn some of the indigenous language for the tribes there.

When I first landed in Nicaragua, I had never had a Spanish lesson in my life. I ended up in a community in the middle of nowhere where no one else spoke any English. I am probably intermediate at Spanish, I understand far more than I speak, but I learned naturally by listening all day every day to what people said. It probably took me a week or so to try and speak, but eventually I got there!
