About Me
I'm Julia, from the US, a lover of running, mountains, photography, philosophy, sustainability, wine, books, libraries, endless conversation, writing, so many things…..
I studied sustainability at university and have been working as an elementary school teacher in South Korea for the past 2 years.
Before that, I’ve lived in Hungary studying photography and Portugal doing odd jobs.
Right now, I’m traveling many countries in Europe with my boyfriend, using Workaway as a means for the next destination!✌🏼

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
running addict…. have run every single day for about 3 years... I like to run road marathons but also trail running, whatever sounds fun... my longest running distance in one go is a mountain 100k in about 10 hours
the Ha Giang loop in Vietnam, I met so many amazing people and had never experienced riding through the mountains on a motorbike like that... not to mention the most beautiful scenery I have maybe ever seen
200 hour yoga teacher training in Chiang Mai, Thailand when I was 18, changed my life in many ways
studying photography through the lens of history abroad in Budapest
1 month roadtripping through Germany in the summer
staying with a host family in a very rural village of Costa Rica for immersive language experience
there are so many more experiences I hope to have in the future!
Teach, Learn, Share
the more I know, the more I realize I don't know... I love to exchange stories with each other, culture, language, all of it
What I Can Share with Hosts

if I am staying with you I am happy to purchase food or groceries needed for cooking and help with cleaning around the home or anything else!
