About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I would love to live a life full of everything.
ABOUT ME
Hi there! I finally get why everybody backpacks through Europe, or anywhere for that matter.. there is so much more to the world than you would think.. I love culture, music, food, big cities, tiny villages, and meeting ridiculously awesome people. Most particularly, I love the intense reality of how much variety there is in everything that exists. Despite my love for San Diego and California, not the bleached hair and designer clothes but the parts I do like, I left right after graduating. I'm currently in Melbourne, last stop on my first trip around the world! I'm actually a geek from the University of California, San Diego and planning on going back to graduate school after some travel and work experience. Planning on taking my next trip through Southeast Asia. And I've always been planning on joining the peace corps. I have too many plans.
PHILOSOPHY
There's no grand scheme, no particular reason we must be here. So I believe we are just meant to be here for each other.

Music, Movies, and Books
Discovering something new, whether it be a new musician or a really old writer, and falling in love with it is like a drug for me.
Two Door Cinema, Ellie Goulding, Miike Snow, The Temper Trap, Vampire Weekend, John Lennon, Transformers, Anchorman, LOST, Modern Family, Dexter, Everything is illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer, Fight Club, Choke, Georg Simmel, Emile Durkheim, etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
An organic farm called Tanderum. I went wwoofing on French Island, off the coast of Melbourne, traded in paved streets for forest, a car for a tractor, and neighbors for koalas. I lived in a wind and solar powered house with two fantastic women who became not only wonderful hosts, but amazing role models. It was an invaluable experience and for the rest of my life I will attempt to guide my actions by the principals of compassion for nature and enthusiasm for life I witnessed.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to help people take care of their furry best friends. I worked at a holistic pet store (we did not sell animals) and can teach others the ins and outs of dog nutrition and general pet care practices. I learned a lot about finding a healthy solution to various doggie problems.. whether it is common allergies or more complicated nutritional issues. I can also help with behavioral issues or just recommendations for things like flea prevention and indestructible toys.
I would love to learn French! I try to regret as little as I can, but the one thing I wish I did as a child was learn languages. I appreciate and respect people who know more than one. And i don't think it is fair to judge someone because of an accent, as they are already more intelligent, in this respect, than the average person in knowing a second (or more) language.
