I am a 24 year working in social services as a life skills coach for at risk youth! I am easy going and love meeting new people. I speak English and have some knowledge of French. I am trying to learn Portuguese.
I have worked at a summer camp for international students coming to Canada to learn English. It was amazing to meet so many diverse people, and now I would like to travel to see where they are from and learn about their lives.

I am new to couch surfing but have surfed a few times in Brazil and Vietnam!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent the majority of 2015-2016 backpacking and loved meeting local people as well as other backpackers! I would love to meet like minded people who can share travel experience with me and also show me their cities. It would be awesome to experience life like the locals do!

Interests

I love being active in nature and being outdoors so usually during my travels, I search for beaches and awesome hiking spots! When I'm not outdoors, I love reading and watching movies.
I also studied History in university so I love learning a bit of history about each location I travel to as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music but I prefer country music and indie music.
My favourite movie is Bridesmaids and my favourite books are Eat, Pray Love and The Lost Girls. They are what gave me the courage to leave everything behind and travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is walk on the Edge of the CN Tower in Toronto! It was such an adrenaline rush!

Teach, Learn, Share

Not too sure what exactly this means but I can help teach English and share positive vibes with hosts and their friends and family. I have an open mind and would love to learn everything I can about the place I am in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What I can share with hosts is positive attitude, open mind and great energy. I am vegetarian so I can share cooking skill if anyone is interested. I can share my knowledge of Canada and help those looking to practice English.
I am quiet and clean and will probably spend most of my days outside exploring so I won't be a bother.
I can also share a room in Ontario, Canada if anyone who hosts me is looking!
