About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to explore various cultures and meet great people.

ABOUT ME

My facial muscles tend to hurt frequently because I laugh and smile often. I am 6ft and dirty blonde. I attend Oregon State University (GO BEAVS). When I am not at practice or in class I like to spend my time with one of my many hobbies. I lived in a cooperative house for a couple years and had a great experience. I met people from all over the world. I had housemates from India, Serbia, Poland, France, and Germany! I feel we learn most about ourselves when we are not in our comfort zone. I like to do things that people think about doing, but never do.

Let's live life. Let's enjoy the time we have. Let's make memories that will last eternity.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life one day at a time. I learn from my past and I look forward to what the future brings. We are only on this planet for so long, why not enjoy our stay?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have spent a lot of my time in college participating in sport and learning. In my free time I have volunteered with local organizations (IMPACT, Special Olympics)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not experienced any international couch surfing, but I hope that will change this summer '13 :)

Interests

I consider myself a Jack of all Trades. There is a theory that states in order for an individual to master a skill, that he or she needs to obtain 10,000 practicing that skill. Well I have not had the time to put that much time into one skill, but rather dozens of skills. I am content not being perfect in one skill. I would rather be intermediate in many things and be able to connect with many people.

I like to:
1. Read
2. Plays sports (Rowing, baseball, futball, American football, racquetball, wrestling, etc)
3. Throw pottery
4. Carpentry
5. Skydive
6. Party
7. Eating (My weakness)
8. Traveling
9. Playing guitar and piano
10. Talking

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have an enormous bucket list of things that I want to do. I have completed some of them, but I still have a lot to do. I have had the opportunity to jump out of the sky at 13,000 ft! I have seen the world from a point of view that so many have not.

Teach, Learn, Share

I spent my undergraduate career at Oregon State University (GO BEAVS). I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a student/athlete. I changed a lot through college. I was hungry for knowledge. My degree was in Exercise and Sport Science. I learned a lot of information about the sciences.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, China

Countries I’ve Lived In
