I'm always looking for new adventures and experiences. Next up: solo travelling in central and South America for a few months between jobs. Meanwhile, I'm generally trying to live a humble life looking to find happiness outside of consumption and material goals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With couchsurfing I want to make more of my trips by giving them a personal and thereby individual component. I want to avoid experiencing places like any other tourist would.
In return, I want to give other surfers a good time when they decide to visit my beautiful home town.

Interests

The hobbies which I'm currently most active in are running and rock climbing. But routine bores me, so I've tried out a few things :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: twenty-one pilots, Jon Bellion, Linkin Park, Quinn XCII, Stromae, Red Hot Chili Peppers to name a few. I like to listen to full albums start to end rather than shuffling through playlists.
Books: alternating between novels, mostly science fiction ("The Swarm", "Three-Body Problem") and classics ("Around the World in 80 Days", "Frankenstein") and non-fiction.
Movies: Among my favourites are Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Inglorious Basterds. Plus, I enjoy movies about music like "Whiplash", "Tick, Tick... Boom!", "Green Book".
