I’m 18, German/French and lived most of my life in belgium, but the last few years where I stayed in the middle east. I love traveling, meeting new people and talking about life, and even have some philosophical discussions, especially when the other person has a different point of view. I love the extreme, Hiking up a mountain, Martial arts and Goalkeeping in Hockey have been my passion for years. But also food, drinks and smoking are things I enjoy! While I'm neither Religious nor Spiritual nor culturally strong (even though I have had lots of contact with Christian, Hinduism and Islamic Religion in my life), I do love to hear, discuss and study any matter linked to those. I am studying a project management orientated course of aeronautical engineering, which consists of the three greatest (In My Opinion) subjects there are: Math, Physics and Business. Sadly, after years of trying I never was able to get into the concept of arts (drawing, singing etc.), and therefore I find anyone who is able to do so extremely fascinating, so if you are good at arts I definitely want to see it :) I’m also a big fan of seeing magic ✨

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Love meeting new people and hearing their life story, drinking with them or just simply playing a round of cards. Staying in a hotel/BnB just doesn’t cut it for me.

Interests

Sports: Volleyball, Hockey, Martial Arts, Kendo (starting next year) Languages, learning new ones (if only some words) is always fun! Food, cooking and recipes. Most things known or unknown, it doesn’t matter.

Music: Electronic, Rock, Electroswing, Psychadelic rap/transe music, jazz, soul, I pretty much like everything, but if i had to choose a genre I dislike the most, its mumble rap.
Movies: 10 Cloverfield Lane, Shutter Island, Avatar (the one with the blue guys), Memento, The prestige, movies that make you think about the nature of humanity in a psycho-thriller approach are my favorites (Netflix’s The Discovery👌)

+/- fluent in 4 languages (maybe soon more) thai boxing (2 years), Card Games, love trying new drinks/food, love learning and teaching recipes, Volleyball (2 years) ex-field-hockey goalkeeper(5 years), hobby traveler and mountain hiker. I love learning, trying and seeing anything that I haven’t before.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experiences so far, as well as my knowledge regarding German, French, English and Dutch. Gladly teach basic self defense and if the material is there, volleyball and hockey. Since I think card games are a great way to break the ice and to get to know each other, I certainly would like to share these. Ofcourse I can show you around town and give tips on what there is to do and to see, after all delft is a beautiful small city with many corners and streets to loose yourself in.
