ABOUT ME

What's up! I am a world traveler/nomad with a love of microbrews, having a good time, humor (Bill Hicks is my muse), and showing people the city I live in. My main operating mode is 'Chill' and I take life as it comes. My friends would say that I am dependable, punctual, and always down to go out or to stay in and take it easy.

PHILOSOPHY

My major goal in life is to enjoy it all the way through while accomplishing all that I hope to accomplish. Too many people live their careers as their life and don't travel and don't attempt to experience the world. I much rather die rich in experience than rich in cash.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have an awesome fold-out couch (turns into a double bed) that is super comfortable for guests. In addition, I want to be able to show fellow travelers around SJ, exchange stories, and make lasting friendships.

Overall, the most amazing thing is my year studying abroad in Tokyo. I can't point to one life-changing experience, but that entire time was just awesome. Learned so much about myself and the world.

If you are ever in Japan (primarily Tokyo) and are lost, finding a police box (Koban 交番）is one of the best things to do. They are find near train stations, generally at at least one of the exits. Japanese police are super friendly and will be more than happy to help!
