ABOUT ME

Hi there. My name is Julian, originally from Auckland, New Zealand. After finishing our degrees, my girlfriend Tesha and I decided to explore the big world. We landed in Toronto, Canada in March 2012 and spent time living, working and exploring all things to see and do in this great city.

Tesha and I love to meet new people and cultures. Was recommended to take a look at Couch Surfing to do this - is a great website!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately we have not been able to open up our home. Our apartment in Toronto and very (very) small and we are still looking for a place to call home in New Zealand. We will be in full swing in hosting when we get to that point.

Our first great experience in Orlando, Florida. Couldn't have asked for better.

Interests

Our couch surfing experience has been nothing but genuine people with a shared interest of the love for travel. Is amazing the amount of knowledge and experience you can receive from a local vs shacking up in a motel and reading the lobby pamphlets!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1: Visiting Santa Monica beach - beautiful day, clear sand and everything I imagined it could be.

2: Landing in Toronto Mid March to very cold weather, no clear direction of where to go from the airport. Something we have done, accomplish and never looked back!
