Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Enjoy meeting new people, its a good opportunity to show my city and my neighbourhood.

Just a brief note, I do get a number of couch requests from time to time. It would be helpful if you have at least one of government/phone/payment couchsurfing verifications, and that's especially so if you have not got that many references.

I live in Clapham which is an affluent London neighbourhood. It's a good combination of a bit more green and less busy than central London, but has plenty of pubs/bars and restaurants, and is also just a short tube journey into the centre.
This would suit someone who wants to see how actual Londoners live, and I would be happy to show anyone around my local neighbourhood. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, single guests could sleep on sofa in living room, I do have a spare mattress that could be moved into living room for a couple.
I haven't much experience with couch surfing, so in terms of providing sleeping space, would prefer short stay initially.
