Hi there :)
I am an almost-24-year-old brazilian, currently studying in Coimbra (Portugal) for a semester (Erasmus!)

I love travelling, sleeping, reading and cooking. I am trying to become a vegetarian (and later go vegan!), so lately I have been trying tons of news recipes. It has been a lot of fun to think outside the box foodwise. I get to spend some time in the kitchen experimenting, talking, laughing and sharing, and well, it has been great!

I also love drama; I try to watch plays as often as I can (altough it's not as often as I'd like), and back in university I am part of a student's drama group. We are all amateurs and we have no director: we try our best to each contribute with something for the group, therefore learning with one another. We've become a little family haha and I miss them a lot :)

I like to dance, too, altough I am not that good :P

And finally, I love meeting new people :) I am a little shy at first, but give me a try haha I currently cannot host, since I am an exchange student, but I plan on hosting people as soon as I come back, so... ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I fell in love with this project as soon as I learned about it. I like the idea of hosting and being hosted, because of the opportunity to meet someone new, and someone who really lives the reality of where one is visiting. I really like discovering new places, and to me, to "discover" a new place means trying to get a little outside of the turistic route, and get to know a little about the "real" life there. So, couchsurfing seems like the perfect thing for that :)

Interests

As said above, I like traveling, and sleeping (a lot <3 haha), cooking, drama, dancing. I am also a feminist, and chocolate addict.

Okay, so: my favorite band ever is Queen! My favourit album is "The Game"
I also love a lot of other bands, my music taste is pretty ecletic...

Books: I like fiction books, specially fantasy. So, the Harry Potter series will be forever in my heart hahah I also love Neil Gaiman!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year, in uni, we were having some sort of "talent night", and it was being awesome. Me and a friend from drama group then decided we wanted to present something - but we had nothing prepared. So we went online, found a text, memorized our lines and rehearsed it, all in like 30 minutes! We then presented it, and it was a huge success :)

I hope I can learn with my hosts about the history of the place I am visiting, as well as a little of how it is to live there. I'll try my best to do it with people I host.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook them some vegetarian dish (my chickpea burguer is becoming real good)! Or I can buy a lot of chocolate, and we can share it :)
