ABOUT ME

Hello! Hola! Bonjour! Oi!
I'm a retired Brazilian journalist from Minas Gerais, living and studying in São Paulo, Brazil. Now I'm studying biochemical engineering and hoping to be a good food scientist someday in the near future!

I love traveling, meeting new friends from everywhere and learning about new cultures (cheesy, I know, but hey cheesy is true sometime!). I like languages a lot! Always up to learn new words. I'm also crazy for science, movies and food, love the outdoors, and I just try to keep myself learning more about anything and everything, all day and everyday.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't do to others what you don't want to be done to yourself. You will harvest whatever you have seeded!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had only two experiences surfing someone's "couch", and it was truly amazing. I loved to see the places I've visited through "local eyes" and being away from crowds if possible. I'm really looking forward to expand my experiences in the CS community. Always great to meet people with warm hearts, open minds and interesting lives. I've so far being positively surprised over and over.

Brazilian literature, writing, young adult literature, science, sci-fi, comics, super heroes, Tim Burton, animation and fantasy movies, environment, space, engineering, technology, traveling, education, mountains, national parks, hiking, FOOD, politics, religion, history, philosophy, international culture, international affairs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving with great sharks in South Africa, jumping in the highest bungee jump in the world, hiking non-stop around Colorado, swimming with sea turtles in Mexico, playing with dolphins in Belize, riding a scooter in the bottom of the sea in Hawaii... This list is constantly being improved.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Many stories... I'm a talker! But I love to listen to, so I think that's well-balanced. Oh, and I'm a great cook (you MUST let me prove it!)... I love to share my Brazilian food! :)
