About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Everything I've learned has been through experience. I'd like to teach my kids the same.

ABOUT ME

This profile actually includes myself, my husband, and three elementary aged kids.

PHILOSOPHY

We all have something to share; we all have something to learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have both hosted and surfed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far we have hosted many times, as well as helped other surfers plan their visits to the area. We are always open to having more guests, especially after how well the first surfs have gone.

We have friends who traveled through Europe and CouchSurfed, which they highly recommend.

We have discovered that our most valued exchanges are when we are able to share conversation over a meal, and our children are included and respected by guests. We may ask you to read, tell, or translate a bedtime story for our children.

Interests

We are currently exploring our world through a child's eyes. Everything is new and fun! I'm also realizing that there's much to learn about the world, and I have become more inquisitive.

We have always loved cycling, building, and dreaming. Right now, we are also excited about overlanding and unusual travel. We will be traveling quite a bit over the next few years. Although we have many interests, these currently consume our free time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Becoming a mother has been the most amazing, life changing event! Children will amaze you if you give them the chance.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m currently busy making fermented foods, and I’d be happy to share what I know.

My husband works in construction. He's amazing at fabrication, and is often called MacGyver. He's always excited to fix something old: clocks, tools, furniture, and so many things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are willing to jump in a help where needed.
