About Me

Hi,

Even when my fluent language is spanish, I have been living in Syosset New York since December 2015 like an Au Pair, so I want to go around USA during this year.
I already did all the semesters of Journalism and Social Communication at UPB in Medellín, Colombia, where I lived with my mom and dad, and that also means I love been in touch with all kind of people, to learn from them and write my own stories.
Everybody knows me like a joyful girl, outgoing and positive atitude.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The Au Pairs stepend is just enought to get your stuff and make your own errands, but no also for traveling and getting by yoursef all those days away from the host family. So if I want to know other states, and cultures of USA, this is the best tool to reach that aim.

Interests

I love photography, writting, get involved with new people, and build nice bounds with them.
I am looking currently for new experiences going outside by myself even without company, cause I am sure I will find always the way to go on and keep walking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am reading Scarlett, like a traditional romantic novel, love hisotorical books from Jesús Sánchez Adalid and use to listen Maroon 5, The Beatles and Colombian music (Carlos Vives).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think amazing or exciting for me has been come to New York city and find out a lot of stories behind the usual information known about this big city. All the sacrifices people do to live in Manhattan, or close to, the poor people asking for food or money, the Subway artists or the ones who get lost in the Gran Central Terminal.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am sure we can interchange some language tips, speaking spanish and also english, my knowledge as a Journalist and vision of the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share colombian gastronomy, stories about my city, my positive energy, and my home at Colombia

Countries I’ve Visited
