我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My first Couchsurfing experience was hosting 2 guys from LA when I was 16 and still living with my parents in Colombia...... Who would have thought that 2 years later when I was moving abroad to Taiwan for the first time, I would see myself having an 18 hours layover with my Couchsurfing buddies and their families... afterward my mum and grandma stayed at theirs as well when they where in LA..... since then I understood the true meaning of ''believe in the kindness of a stranger'' and I have been addicted to Couch Surfing since.

I have surfed in Taipei, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Prague, Nice, Kosovo, Macedonia, Turkey, Brunei, Lithuania, Latvia, Brasil, Cuba, and I'm not planning to stop :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Backpacking in South America has been one of my life's highlights, getting to know my own continent was worth a lifetime. Bolivia is heaven on Earth, outstanding landscapes from Salar de Uyuni to watching the Milky Way in the sky at -30 degrees celsius.

Backpacking and living in Asia was unforgettable, getting to know all these amazing cultures and experiencing their day-to-day living.

Lastly, being able to study in Europe for 3 years in 3 different countries... I would always say that the old continent is the future. I was so fascinated by the way of thinking, lifestyle and multiculturality every country had to offer... Living in Europe definitely shaped me into the person I am today...

I was able to live by myself when I was living in Chicago, US - and I was able to finally give back to this amazing community and hosted a bunch of guests all over the globe!

That colOmbia is spelled with and O and not a U as many would think hahahha.... I am very passionate about where I come from so definitely you will get a little flavor of my roots in each conversation/experience...

Also I can say that I have traveled quite a bit so if you are new to all this travelers world... I can definitely share with you tips and information about this amazing community and lifestyle!
