ABOUT ME

I am from Colombia. I was born in a city called Palmira, just 23 minutes away from Cali, the capital city of the province of Valle del Cauca. I am very proud to be Colombian and even though I have lived half of my life outside my country I still conserve my roots, I watch Colombian news, watch soccer games from my country and still have an accent when I speak english hehe. I am 34 years old now and I am a graduate from Hospitality and Tourism Management in Waterloo, Canada. I decided to study Hospitality and Tourism Management because I am a person that likes to travel a lot and one day I would like to take advantage of my profession to do one of the things I like most. I am planning now to become a commercial pilot. My favorite hobbie is to watch sports, soccer specially and obviously travel. I like to make friends, go out with friends, have beer here and there, party and many other things you can think of to have fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would gladly offer my house to future travellers that would like to visit but for the moment I am living in a hotel room in Bracknell, England while on my working visa so I can’t do it for that reason. In the mean time, I would like to know as many places as I possibly can and this is a wonderful opportunity that this site offers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met three wonderful persons already in Veracruz, Mexico and even though I didn't stay at anyone's house, I was offered a couch at some point but most importantly their friendship and I had a great time back in 2012.

Interests

I like to watch soccer (football) sadly is more the time I spend watching it than playing it anymore. I follow my favorite Colombian soccer team matches of America de Cali. I like sports in general and I also like the Miami Heat very much. I like to surf the internet, watch tv, I like to go out with friends to have a beer or even just for a coffee; it doesn't matter as long as we are outside and we're having fun. I like to joke around, travel, meet new people, watch horror movies, I love to hug the girl that I like and just have fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music definitely has to be Salsa even though I am not one of the greatest dancers but at least I can do a step or two hehe. I like a little bit of everything as well such as: Vallenato, Merengue, hip hop, whatever! the most important thing for me is that it has a good rhythm and the rest will come by itself.
