About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Faith-based itinerancy.

ABOUT ME

Bicycle tourist, occasional monk, Christian commitment with Buddhist influence. I haven't been terribly stable, at least not geographically (I have lived in many places on both coasts and am presently studying in Minnesota), yet hope that will change in the not so distant future. Since most of my travels have been by bicycle, I haven't gotten very far, relatively speaking. In fact, outside the United States, I've only been to Guatemala. One of my aspirations is to bicycle through Asia.

PHILOSOPHY

All shall be well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am on bicycle tour from summer 2011 through the summer of 2012 (see www.emerging-communities.com), which is part graduate research project with a focus on Christian intentional communities, part personal pilgrimage. I joined the CS Project in order to connect with the occasional couch and welcoming host during the tour (though I prefer to camp, as a rule). When I settle down again, I will more than willingly open my door to other travelers.
