Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently doing a travel year on a student budget. I met some other travelers and they recommended couchsurfing. One of the things I love about traveling is meeting new people and with couchsurfing I can get to meet people who actually live in the place I visit, thus giving the opportunity of learning so much more about the place than when staying in a hostel or hotel. And to me to really travel a place is not only to see it but to meet the people living there :)

I love to travel! Like everyone on here. :)
I love to see new places and get to know new people and their culture. For me it really puts things into a new perspective and I always like to incorporate parts if different cultures into my life.
Also I like to be outdoors exploring new places and to hike, swim, snorkel...
I am also very happy with a good book and some tea relaxing.

I like all kinds of books from crime to comedies.
Same goes with movies. Action movies, comedies...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef is so far one of my most amazing experiences. The colors are amazing!
So was sky diving in Namibia.
And doing the Nevis Swing in New Zealand. Still surprised that I am still alive (I am terrified of heights).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love live and have a very positive outlook. I am always up to some language teaching which is always fun. I am not too bad of a baker too. :)
