I'm going to America for the first time (yaaay) and well, I have already used CS once in Brazil, so I thought about using it again for two reasons:

> Money is short for hotels
> I absolutely LOVE the experience of meeting new people, having a host or hosting someone

So yeah, let me explain it better. I had to make a crowdfunding to cover half of my ticket flights, for example, because I didn't have enough money. So I wouldn't lie and say that CS would help me A LOT in this sense. But I sincerely don't want to take advantage from it, I want to help my host as much as I can and be able to create a bond with her/him. I don't want only a place to stay during the trip, I want to get to know the person I'll be sharing a house with, you know?

I want to do backpacking - not sure if this the correct word in English, though. Hopefully, I'll be able to have a great experience with you all help!
