About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am exploring APAC. starting in new Zealand, gradually working my way up to Vietnam.

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Germany and I really like my country. Still something has been and still is drawing me out into the world. I have spent a student exchange in Liverpool, new York, a semester abroad in Madrid and did an internship in France. After my bachelor's degree I worked in logistics for a while.

Random and possibly interesting facts about me:

I am friendly, ironic, honest, reliable, impatient, realist, interested in people that live differently, willing to learn and yield to the better argument, open minded and tolerant.

Cooking, eating, going to restaurants are some of my favorite past time activities, if I can share that with someone it is one of the things I enjoy the most. I try to eat healthy and stay fit. Of course that doesn't always work.

I like cars and most motorized things, I own a red "Simson Schwalbe" from 1981, that's a 50ccm scooter produced in the GDR. (I wish I had enough mechanical knowledge to fix / rebuild cars, motorcycles.)

I like to laugh with others. I watch too many series and movies.
I like black humor and anti-jokes.

I am still trying to figure out what exactly I want to do with my life. Having my own business is a big dream.

I am interested in meaningful discussions about anything. E.g. politics, philosophy, religion and culture but also enjoy talking about lighter topics and goofing around (just too much small talk kills me)

I would love to get fluent in Spanish and French.

I enjoy board games and trivias.

I am very excited to find out what couchsurfing can give me and what I can give back!

PHILOSOPHY

Go discover.

live the moment.
(something I'm striving for personally, can't say I have fully achieved the level of awareness for the "now" that I am looking for)
