I'm Julia from Switzerland and currently staying for four months in San José, Costa Rica, to do an internship. I like to be active, to do sports, to travel around, to get out of my comfort zone and to meet people from all over the world.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I only got active on Couchsurfing when I moved to Costa Rica. I am hoping to meet some people to have interesting talks, to travel together and to see a new country and its culture from a different point of view

Intereses

I love being in the nature; to hike, to swim, to see new things.
I am a very social being :) I volunteered for several years at a children and youth association as well as at Caritas, I loved to organize events, to go camping and to feel the children's joy.
I love to get out of my comfort zone; I did two exchange semesters in Ottawa, Canada and in Tartu, Estonia. I got to know a bunch of people from all over the world and new cultures which was very enriching.
I studied anthropology, history, international law and politics. I am especially interested in international relations, humanitarian law and human rights.

Música, películas y libros

I love to read for fun - lately I am mainly reading my travel guide about Costa Rica :)
I don't really have favourite music, I am basically listening to many different kinds of music - Ed Sheeran, Ella Henderson, The Passenger, Bligg, Imagine Dragons, Die Toten Hosen, Die Ärzte, Train, Mumford & Sons, One Republic, Paolo Nutini, The Tallest Man on Earth, etc.
I prefer to watch series, currently catching up with Grey's Anatomy :)
