I'm originally from the San Francisco Bay Area but am now enjoying life in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. After graduating with my degree in French Studies, I'm currently working in the local wine industry. I recently returned from an amazing trip of traveling and making wine in Burgundy, France! I'm on a mission to learn more about wine in every city I visit.

I love hosting couch surfers and I love being the explorer, too. It's my pleasure to give travelers the grand tour of Santa Barbara if I'm not working! I love hearing your stories and connecting with people from all over the world.
I really appreciate learning the history behind wine and the people that make it, along with other local traditions and culture. I always would rather get to know the locals and visit your favorite spots than the tourist traps.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

While on my 45-minute drive to the vineyard, I am usually listening to NPR, or a favorite album like Then Came the Morning by the Lone Bellow. Sometimes on long drives I'll explore the evolution of rock icons, like that one time I listened to four straight hours of Led Zeppelin.

The last fun book I read followed the history of WWII through the experiences of wine producers in France.

I love educating others on the fun nuances of the wine world, hopefully demystifying wine and creating a safe space to try new things! I'm constantly learning about wine myself, and I'm hoping to one day say that I'm fluent in French!
