To step out of my comfort zone and learn as much as I can. It's one step at a time!
I was raised in Georgia but now reside in the Minneapolis metro area. My experiences with travel has really made me eager to adventure more.
I tend to be awkward around people I first meet, but I love to hear people's stories and experiences, from the craziest things they've done to their day to day lives. I may not talk very much when I first meet you.... or I'll end up talking a lot to compensate.
* If you are interested in surfing with me, tell me why you think we would be a good host/surfer match. Please do not send me a general request with only details about your trip.
* If you're traveling with a friend or partner, please link their profile in your request - I want to know who I'm welcoming into my home! I will not host your friend if they don't have a CS profile with references.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Been to a few couch crashes as well as meeting up with the Minneapolis crew. I’ve hosted and surfed a few times. I enjoy the warm, accepting personalities that couchsurfing attracts.
My true loves include National Public Radio (and Atlanta's local station, WABE), This American Life (the podcast that you should totally check out), Stuff You Should Know, reading webtoons and books and the news, and just hanging out with people. I absolutely love to hear other people's perspectives on current events and everyday life.
I have an obsession with good food,so I can go on about that for quite a while. Also science and engineering and healthcare are topics I would love to talk/learn more about!

Celebrated in street parties with everyone in Hanoi when Vietnam won a soccer match.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m in the medical device field, so I can teach you about that. Also I could definitely talk at length about wherever I traveled last, haha. I also can share thoughts in Minneapolis culture vs Atlanta culture or just American culture in general.
I want to step out of my comfort zone, so I want to learn everything about the world. Open to learning about your line of work, what daily life is like where you’re from, political ideas, human rights, cooking (!), history, etc.
