Overview
About Me
I'm an animator from Denmark and I'm currently freelancing in Copenhagen and travel whenever I can.
I've lived in India for half a year where I taught English, and I've lived at la Réunion (right next to Madagascar) where I worked at the animation studio Pipangai.
I enjoy swimming, trekking, climbing, reading, drawing, and painting watercolours. Not super fond of big spiders and sharks but otherwise I'm pretty chill about the cribblycrawlies. I'm also a decent cook :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to experience the countries I go to from the perspective of the people who actually live there instead of being in a hotel and go to tourist attractions.
And I believe that the best way to do that is to live with locals who are kind enough to open their homes to a friendly stranger :)
Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite music right now is Alex Cameron and Asaf Avidan.
Favourite books are maaaaany, but a few is The Book Thief, The Name of the Wind, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Unwomanly Face of War & His Dark Materials.
Favourite movies is many, many, many! This includes anything by Edgar Wright and Tarantino, Grand Budapest Hotel, the Iron Giant, Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Casablanca & The Princess Bride.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Directed a short film with an amazing team.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm an excellent cook and I can amuse with funny anecdotes of my own experience or quotes from various stand-up and movies.
I speak sarcasm fluently and I will bring Danish treats like weird black candy (lakrids), weird liquor (snaps) or H. C. Anderson-stauettes.
