Hello my name is Julie, my nickname is Toto, I speak mainly english, a little french, some japanese, a few words in German and for some strange reason I have been known to have entire conversations with people in up to 12 languages in my sleep but mainly German, French and Russian, apparently I do a lot of odd things in my sleep- I am a sleepwalker but don't do it very often.
Currently I live in Tasmania which I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't heard of, it's a state of Australia separated from the mainland by the bass strait.
My goal here on couchsurfing is to find a host in (hopefully beijing or chengdu ) china. I enjoy camping and the outdoors- I plan to do a lot of camping. I'm a very optimistic person and often turn negative aspects into positive ones, I'm quite outgoing and friendly with a quiet nature and I have a keen eye for minute detail. In my own opinion the most interesting thing i could state about myself is the way my freckles look like stellar constellations from my own point of view. I have a basic TEFL certification and plan to use this while in china to find work in that field.
If all goes according to plan I will be flying out of Australia around July or august this year (2019)
The last thing I will say is that I try to stay away from coffee as much as possible because I suffer from a severe caffeine addiction because I drank too much coffee at a young age so if you are a coffee drinker or caffeine lover than I would not be your ideal coffee mate

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most types of music and I can listen to almost anything, I listen to a lot of rock in my own time.
I particularly enjoy a good thriller but am not so fond of mystery or horror films, occasionally I come across a drama that I enjoy and am always up for a comedy.
I like to read fantasy novels or non fiction books.
