About Me

Hi ! My name is Julie, I'm from France. I moved to London last December.
Last year I lived my lifelong dream : going to Colombia... it was an amazing year full of amazing new people, places and cultures.
Unfortunately money is not infinite and I had to come home to Europe, and moved to London. I still feel like I am not done discovering the world, and I am currently saving and planning a trip around the world hitchhiking. It will be a big challenge, and it will probably take me a while to save enough money (although I plan on using it as little as possible, I want to make sure I am covered in case of needing it). That's why before I leave I'll to take a few small trips hitchhiking, a few hikes just to make sure I feel up for the challenge.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I just love the idea of meeting new people from everywhere geographically but also with different life-stories, different passions, etc. I'm really open-minded and I don't judge anything or anyone so let's just share a beer and enjoy meeting new people :)

Music: latino, classic, movie soundtracks, and any new genre I've never heard before.

Movies: anything from the good old classics to new modern block busters. Just not horror movies.

Books: 1984, Harry Potter (yes...and I am not even ashamed of being such a big potter geek), anything by Eric Emmanuel Schmitt, Molière or Roald Dahl.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living with indegenous people in the Guajira desert of Colombia.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach : French or Spanish, but only if we get drunk at the same time, otherwise it's just way too boring, and I can also teach a bit of photoshop.
