Hello !
I'm a PHD student in Paris (studying Geography) and I love to travel.
I started couchsurfing while spending a year in the US and really enjoyed discovering new places with people.

I think I'm pretty easy going, except for working/studying (I'm probably too intense when it comes to working on something that interests me). Otherwise, I think I'm pretty friendly, and I love meeeting new people.
I play soccer, also really like hiking (espacially when I'm abroad), read a lot...

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

To get the chance to meet new people, and especially people who actually live in the places in wanna discover. I strongly believe that Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to experience new places.
A local loving his city and willing to share about it is probably the best guide I could ever have !

I surfed in Charleston and Savannah (USA). It was an amazing experience, and getting the chance to hang out with my hosts definitely made my stay there special !

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I'm gonna be mostly French on this part : Camus, Proust, Baudelaire, Rimbaud, Apollinaire, ...
But also : Naguib Mahfouz, Jane Austen, Hemingway, etc.

Music : I used to love rock music (and I still do), as well as indie rock/ indie pop, and groups like MGMT, Passion Pit. I also love some French artists (Serge Gainsbourg, Barbara), and now I listen more and more electro/techno music ... and rap music (French and American hip hop).

As to movies ... I couldn't say. I just love watching movies, and the list of my favorite movies would be way too long !
