My name is Julie, I am a 22-year old pharmacy student living in France. I am currently solo traveling in Europe with Interrail for 2 months. I already traveled to Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia and lastly to Hungary, where I had the opportunity to volunteer for a month in a nature conservation association.

During this trip I really wanted to take the time to discover new places and connect with people, that’s why I love the flexibility the Interrail pass gives me. I am always open to a change of itinerary or longer stay at a place I like. Avoiding the plane was also important for me :)

I am currently a 5th year pharmacy student and specializing in medical biology. In the future my plan is to work at the hospital and do some research and teaching at university!

During my free time I enjoy swimming, hiking, skiing, reading (love exchanging books with travelers), baking/cooking, thrifting and sewing clothes, rock climbing… I am a big sunset fan and love having drinks with friends while playing card games. I am very curious and love learning new things.

As a traveler I like sightseeing but I also love finding hidden spots. I am always eager to try new local food or drinks.

Movies/tv shows: currently watching The Office (US) and Better Call Saul
Movies: Le fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain (Amelie), every Ghibli movies, Interstellar, anything staring Francois Civil (a handsome French actor ahah)
Books: my favorite is “The Book Thief” but I also love French authors like Melissa Da Costa and Joël Dicker
I also read in English (mainly fiction/rom-com)
