Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here to experience cities through the eyes of locals, discover hidden gems you wouldn’t find as a typical tourist, assist in educating & connecting with others while simultaneously further expanding knowledge of cultures & traditions and other arrays of things from passionate people!

Some things I love:
• Trying authentic dishes that can be made vegan
• Exploring native locations before social media blew them up
• Biking, hiking, or foraging with a host, or get recommendations for renting a bike or discovering great trails.
• Visit popular dance venues, bathhouses, or natural thermal springs
• Meeting fellow ocean enthusiasts to snorkel, explore sea caves, or to be ASA sailing certified

One of my favorite experiences was joining a radio host at work, an unforgettable way to immerse myself in local life. I’m excited to create more meaningful connections and memorable adventures!

Interests

All things eco friendly/green tech, stem cells, mycelium, TCM, native vegan cuisine, secret events/spots, historical architecture, native plants/food, traditions, finding hidden or difficult to get in w/o knowing someone dancing (säule), and trying different cultures native holistic traditional remedies, treatments, well-being spas or thermal hot springs.

Spotify says I listened to 44 genres this past year..so I’d say I’m pretty diverse to all genres except country

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydive at high elevation with amazing mountain & ocean view
Hiked an amazing amount of gorgeous waterfalls in Iceland and tasted the most delicious water & rooted vegetables
Hike the Black Forest in Germany
Hike La Bufa in Guanajuato
Hike Angels Landing 👼🏼 at Mt Zion in winter 🥶
Hike Bright Angel rim to almost river but had to turn around due to hailstorm
Went on a night boat ride in Venezia and found a local Italian speakeasy
Was on a radio show in Mexico
Be a voice for the ocean and save marine wild life
Rode & raised funds in the ‘22 Distinguished Gentlemans motorcycle ride for men’s physical/mental health in honor of friends stepdad

What I Can Share with Hosts

I bring a wealth of knowledge in holistic health, tcm, natural remedies, plant based nutrition, overall well-being, and tips for all levels plant-based cooking. Can assist with some tech struggles. I’m also happy to help with organization, keeping spaces clean, and respecting house rules.
