About Me

I'm traveling for 1+ year with my boyfriend, Loïc, from France to south east Asia with zero plane (to reduce our impact on the planet).
Our project is to meet and volunteer with people who are committed to social and environmental causes and interview them to make a documentary.

It will be a pleasure to meet people, as hosts or to hang out :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did my first travel on my own in Ireland, june 2013. I didn't know Couchsurfing and only slept in hostels, until I met a guy who told me about Couchsurfing. The idea resonated with my type of travel: meeting people living there, discovering the culture (food, music, history etc...) instead of only going to the touristic spots.

Since I hitchhiked a lot, I didn't use Couchsurfing so much because I met a lot of people this way. Now that we're traveling by train and bus, we're looking forward to meeting new people thanks to Couchsurfing.

Loïc in on the same page, we both want to travel slowly and take the time to discover the countries and meet people.

Interests

Loïc studied IT engineering, then changed his path completely to start a blog on psychology. He's passionate about what drives human to do the things they do, and how to help them live in peace. He's currently trying to make a living out of his blog.

Julie studied sociology and worked as a social worker in an emergency shelter. She's now becoming a mediator and wants to work in peace-building projects.

We are both activists at home, Loïc for animal rights and Julie for fight against poverty.

But don't worry, when we're not saving the world, we also like to party and have fun ;)
