I have chosen to explore the realm of couchsurfing because I've heard some pretty wonderful things about it. In addition, I am planning on a solo-trip in the near future and I thought it would be a good way to meet people and potentially find a sense of community. I am going to Japan mid September and I am looking forward to immersing myself :)
