CURRENT MISSION
To meet amazing people around all of the globe
ABOUT ME
Right now I'm a happy person loving my life, studies, work and friends in Copenhagen.
I'm vegetarian, believes in peace and try to live my life in a way that do not effects anyone negative, though that's difficult in a world with this much inequality.
After growing up in the countryside of Denmark, visiting some European capitals in the vacations, but not really experiencing anything truly different, I now contains a great curiosity about all the different cultures of the world, the different people, lives and attitudes.
When I finished high school I traveled to Africa. I stayed one month in Tanzania, participating at a danish folk high school at Zanzibar learning about african culture, relations between development countries and the western world, and preparing for my upcoming volunteer work.
I then went to Ghana for 3 months, where I lived with a local family and worked at a primary school near Kumasi.
When I returned to Denmark after my first meeting with Africa I mooved to Copenhagen right away to start working at the danish students development organisation "Operation A Days work". I worked with a campaign informing the danish high school students about the social and political conditions in Zimbabwe, and in the end raising money for a education project in Zimbabwe. This also gave me a chance to revisit the continent :-)
After finishing this I started studying Spanish, i'm finishing my one year of study very soon.
I'm now planning to go to Mexico.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I believe solidarity is one of the most important values in the universe. CS is a great example of sharing and trusting which I believe many in the world could learn a lot from.
As soon as I am back from Mexico (around march 2011) and have found a place to live, my couch will be available :-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new to couch surfing, but have heard so many lovely stories about my friends' experiences that I sometime feel I have already couched it myself :-)
I will be couchsurfing for the first time with my more experienced couchsurfer friend Ronja in Mexico City in the end of december.
